This article aims to review some of the best UK companies when it comes to the best broadband service.

Sky

Complaints about broadband are very common but this is one company that receives the least complaints. This probably due to the fact that they have an efficient customer service that is able to handle customer queries in good time. The company offers a truly unlimited broadband service at just 7.5 pounds a months. This comes with a free skyhub wireless router and access to cloud services and parental controls. For a faster experience, the Sky Fiber Unlimited package that goes for 20 pounds should be taken. However customers will need a line rental of 16.4 pounds per month which does not include free weekend calls.

Virgin

This is another provider of broad band services that scores high in terms of customer services. When it comes to complaints from customers, they register the lowest. For 50Mbp unlimited package, price begin at 17.5 pounds and this include a free router, free online backup and security. Their line rental stands at 13.66 pounds per month and includes free weekend calls to UK lines.

PlusNet

Most people remember PlusNet as part of BT but they are very independent. Their packages come as a bundle that includes broadband services of 17Mbps unlimited access and free router. They also offer free weekend calls in the UK and McAfee security. Their packages start at 9.99 pounds and when broadband and when line rental is included it starts from 12.99. BT Infinity

Their entry level package BT Infinity I starts at 7.5 pounds and includes broadband at 38Mbps, 20GB usage, free router and wifi hotspot but comes with a line rental of 14.16 pounds per month. The unlimited usage package at 76Mbps goes for 25 pounds

Review Samsung Galaxy Ace 4

It looks like Samsung, feels like a Samsung, and performs like a Samsung. Therefore there are good reasons for considering using one along with the best rated wireless earbuds for listening to your music on Spotify.

Design Features

The concept behind the Galaxy Ace 4 is simple enough. It is a smaller and less expensive version of the Galaxy Mini S5. It looks almost identical to the Mini S5 and the performance and specs are at reduced levels though not drastically lower.

Samsung had to reduce the screen size to 4.3 inches, they also had to reduce the pixel resolutions by two-thirds so the display is not as good as that of the Mini S5. Compared to other phones the images are blurred, and not sharp enough. Even the extra brightness gained from Samsung‘s AMOLED technology can redeem the screen.

Standard Quad Core fitted

The Ace 4 is fitted with the bulk standard quad core processor which gives it similar performance levels to those of its rivals. Where the processor proves to be inadequate is with the playing of 3D games. A RAM of 1 GB and memory of 8 GB is on a par with other phones in its price range. Fortunately you can boost to a maximum of 64 GB with a micro SD card.

The Android inside is the 4.4 KitKat gives an average performance, where as better performance could make it for its other failings.

Same old Camera

Samsung did not bother to upgrade the cameras from the Ace 3, and that detracts from the over all impact of the Ace 4. Whilst the camera was just about adequate for the Ace 3 it means that the Ace 4 is too far behind its counterparts in terms of quality,

A 5 megapixel camera simply does not cut it in phones of this price range anymore. Perhaps Samsung will learn their lesson in time for the next version.

4G Connections Available

The Ace 4 does connect to 4G, 3G, Wi-Fi, as well as bluetooth.

Battery Problems

The battery for the Ace 4 is a real let down, it lacks power, and its life is too short. If you are lucky you may get 11 hours use out of a full charge. For people that have to constantly use their phones it would too unreliable.

Conclusion – spend money on something better

Perhaps Samsung designed this phone in too much of a hurry, they certainly did not seem to spend too much on developing it either. The screen is not sharp enough, the camera is not up to the job, and the battery life is too limited. To be honest you would be better spending your money on the Motorola, Sony, and LG models in the same price range.

The S6 Samsung Galaxy Is The Flagship Of Samsung

Samsung has become one of the biggest names in the Smartphone industry and it seems as though their new Samsung Galaxy S6 will take the world by storm. This sleek and sassy new mobile not only sheds its old all-plastic design which was seen with previous Galaxy models but now sports a beautiful new metal chassis. The S6 Samsung Galaxy does in fact follow a similar design from the Galaxy Alpha but surpasses it and offers much more.

When it was first introduced in March of 2015, most agreed it would become the flag-ship Smartphone of Samsung.

Bringing New Style And Appeal

Standing at just 6.8mm thick, the S6 is actually the thinnest Smartphone made by Samsung to-date and that is some achievement. Nothing has been lost in the process though and if anything, the style is more modern and appealing to all generations. In some instances, the S6 can remind you of Apple’s iPhone however, it really is unique in a sense also. The feel you get from this phone is unusual but great and it feels like this is the number one phone to choose.

The premium feel is great with the strong and durable metal frame and glass body; but the signature style is still there to be admired and enjoyed. The great thing of all is that the Samsung Galaxy S6 is so light and takes a step forward rather than backwards. Many manufacturers find it hard to create a better phone in a series but the S6 Samsung Galaxy manages to do just that.

Features

The S6 comes with HD 1440 x 2560 resolution AMOLED 5.1 screen which has to be one of the winning features of the phone. However, the camera is fairly good too with its pixel count. The position of the camera might not be to everyone’s liking but its still effective, providing users with sharp picture and video capabilities.

The phone is overall very strong and durable especially with the Corning Gorilla Glass. This must be one of the toughest screens out there right now. There is also built-in Wi-Fi and comes with Fingerprint Sensors and many more features including:

  • Heart Rate Monitor
  • New Speaker Position
  • OS Android Lollipop
  • TouchWiz User Interface
  • Built-In Music Player
  • Hands-Free Speaker
  • GPS
  • Quad Core Processor
  • Large Memory Capacity

Battery Life And Connectivity

Batteries for Smartphone’s can be at times a bit off however, the S6 Samsung Galaxy is able to offer a fairly good battery life. The battery is small but its able to offer a day or more life capacity which is good. If you play games more often then you may need to charge up more often but for average use, the battery can handle around 24 hours before needing to be charged. However, users should note the battery cannot be replaced which is a very odd feature.

Samsung Galaxy S6 comes with 4G, the latest high-speed internet connection but it can also support 3G and even 2G so you have lots of options on offer here. However, the GPS is impressive and if you ever need to find your way you can easily use this feature to help you out. The Wi-Fi features are also impressive and there is Bluetooth to use. There is even a micro USB port and audio jack too.

A Strong Market Competition

However, there is still a huge competition between Samsung, Motorola, HTC and of course Apple and that won’t be an easy battle to win. Though, Samsung does have a slight edge since its offering its latest model in a variety of colours such as Blue, White, Black and Gold. There will also be battles between rivals but the S6 Samsung Galaxy will be able to handle most of the competitors out there.

Conclusion

Samsung has once again produced a winner. It is not only able to offer a fair market value for the latest Smartphone but able to offer a whole host of impressive and standout features. Any Galaxy users will enjoy using the latest S6 and its so easy to use as well. The Samsung Galaxy S6 has stepped on screen and will be around for a very long time and will rival the biggest Smartphone competitors.

The Sony Xperia M4 Is A Very Exciting Smartphone Prospect!

Its Design & Great Looks

When given a first glance, it is hard to tell the difference that does exist between the Sony Xperia M4 Aqua and Sony’s flagship phone called the Z3. It is also a phone that costs about half as much in price tag as well. This is something that does make for a very exciting smartphone on all fronts. What the Sony Xperia M4 does share with the Z3 is very clear. They have the very same all-glass front and back panels. The one difference is this, and that is, the edges are plastic instead of aluminum. They also do seem to be very identical in the design aspect as well. The right hand edge also has the following. There is a circular power button, a volume rocker, and a most welcome camera button too.

It is also the same exact size as the Z3. This is right down to the millimeter. A fact that does make it super slim and measuring just right under 7.5 mm to be on the nose. This is less than a wafer thicker than that of the iPhone 6. The screen of the M4 is fractionally somewhat smaller than that of the Z3. However, it is still considered large at 5 inches, which does indicate that the bezel is somewhat wider that does surround the screen itself. The only way to take notice of this fact is if you are into rulers in an obsessive kind of way though.

The Sony Xperia M4 also does weigh less than the Z3 too. It only weighs in at an amazing 136 grams. This phone is very light in both weight and feel. It also comes available in colors of Black, Coral, White, and Silver.

It should also be mentioned that the Sony Xperia Aqua M4, as its name does suggest, is a phone that is totally waterproof and dustproof. This phone also does meet with the IP65/68 standards. This means that it is waterproof up to a depth of 1.5 meters in fresh water for up to 30 minutes. Don’t take it out to sea and into the swimming pool though.

Overall, the design of this new Sony Xperia M4 is something, which is truly exceptional in every way.

What are some of the outstanding features of the Sony Xperia M4?

The Sony Xperia M4 is special for its own reasons and not just being a close comparison to the Z3 either.

The Sony Xperia M4 is special unto itself for its own benefits. These benefit do lie within it awesome features. Some of these features are as follows. They are:

  • The Sony Xperia Aqua M4 does run the very latest Android Lollipop 5.0
  • Has excellent camera performance
  • Does run the Snapdragon 625 8-core 64-bit processor
  • This phone has top support for 4G, 3G, and 2G networks
  • The battery life is great and is a modest 2,400mAh capacity

Conclusion – Is this phone a phone worth buying or not?

Based on all of the information presented here, and what is being said about the Sony Xperia in a very good way, the answer is yes to all of the above. It is a smartphone that is indeed worth purchasing for all the right reasons and requirements.

Review HTC One M9 Smartphone

When people mention the names of companies that make mobile phones and smartphones they often mention HTC as a realistic alternative to a Samsung, LG or Apple iPhone. Generally HTC phones are among the best you can get your hands. Phones from HTC have been critically acclaimed yet not necessarily the best sellers.

The all new M9

HTC decided to officially launch the HTC One M9 at the World Mobile Congress. It is the successor to the HTC One M8 that had been well-received for its design, and its capabilities yet was faulted for having a disappointing camera.

Great design?

The HTC One M9 has a stylish metal outer body, and has four different colour schemes; rose gold and silver, gold and pink, gunmetal grey, and also amber gold. Perhaps the colour choices are an acquired but do not let that put you off a really fine smartphone. For some reason they decided to put the power button next to the volume control, it is annoying to turn the phone off instead of turning your music up.

Battery, power, and performance

HTC decided to put the Snapdragon 810 processor in the M9 making it responsive and capable of running several apps all at the same time. The battery gives the phone enough power to do what you want it to do. A full charge allows you to use the M9 all day, which is above average. It does not represent much of an upgrade from the M8.

A notable improvement from the M8 is the inclusion of a slot for a micro-SD card, should the 3 GB of RAM and 32 GB of memory not be enough.

Whilst the M8 had the impressive BoomSound speakers they lacked Dolby Audio. The M9 has both, and therefore music sounds great when you play it. The headphones supplied with the phone are also high quality.

Features and Camera

HTC decided to combine the Android lollipop 5.0 with sense 7.0 to help users get more out of using the M9. The idea is that its you to make the interface on your M9 exactly as you want it.

It features Cloudex an app that lets you put all your pictures in one place, quite handy if you have many of them to organise.

Once again the camera, or cameras to be precise are the weak point. The rear camera takes poor quality pictures in low light. The front camera took sharp well-defined pictures, but that does not make up for the main camera.

Conclusions

The M9 is an outstanding phone yet it could have been better. It is well-designed and offers high performance apart from the camera.
